A two-way integration built for everyday efficiency in legal practice
A new two-way integration between Crespect legal practice management software and Ilves MyActivities time tracking software for law firms is coming soon. The integration connects case and contact data in Crespect with time tracking and business development (BD) activities captured in MyActivities.
Contacts and cases from Crespect will be visible in MyActivities, while MyActivities will feed and suggest timecards and BD efforts back to Crespect. This reduces manual data entry across both systems and improves workflow efficiency for lawyers and law firm professionals.
Less friction, better data quality in legal time tracking
By linking real case and client data with activity tracking, the integration reduces duplicate work and improves data quality. Users benefit from automatic suggestions based on existing information, making legal time entry and BD tracking faster and more consistent.
MyActivities not only identifies activities that could be recorded as billable time entries but also provides an AI-automated pre-filled time entry which, after confirmation, is sent directly to Crespect. This helps ensure that billable work and client-related activities are captured accurately without additional administrative effort — improving billing accuracy and law firm profitability.
Digitalization works best as a partnership
The integration is built in close cooperation between the two companies. As Heikki Ilvessalo, Managing Director of Ilves, notes:
“Digitalization is a team sport. It is good to have a strong partnership with Crespect in this sport, working together to make everyday work easier for our users.”
The collaboration focuses on practical improvements that support how legal professionals actually work — not adding complexity, but simplifying processes through smart legal software integration.
A flexible ecosystem for modern law firms
This integration is part of Crespect’s broader commitment to building a flexible legal technology ecosystem tailored to law firms’ needs. Crespect continues to expand as a single-entry point legal practice management system by integrating with:
- Document management systems such as Epona, SharePoint, iManage, and NetDocuments (coming soon)
- Trusted data sources including ECB currency rates and national banks
- Analytics and reporting tools like Qlik
- Time tracking software including Ilves MyActivities and TIQ Time
- ERP and accounting systems such as StandardERP by Hansaworld, Netvisor, SunSystems, and independent KSeF connectors for Polish e-invoicing
- Identity and access management via Azure
- Custom API endpoints based on firm-specific requirements
Together with partners like Ilves, Crespect helps law firms streamline time tracking, improve billing accuracy, and scale their legal operations with confidence.
